The first Finnish mouthwash designed to defend against Coronavirus
The Coronavirus spreads primarily through droplet infection from coughing or sneezing.
Isodent’s ‘Vastaanoton suuvesi’ consists of hydrogen peroxide (1,5%) that inactivates viruses in saliva and the oral cavity.
When the user rinses for 60 seconds with the product, the viral load of the aerosol produced during the treatment will decrease. The risk for exposure is reduced. Protect yourself and your staff.
Isodent Oy has developed the product in collaboration with the dentists of HammasOskari Oy. This is the first product developed for this indication.
The latest scientific evidence suggests that use is recommended prior to dental treatment (1,2). The American Dental Association recommends the use of hydrogen peroxide based mouthwash to increase the level of hygiene (3).
“We add another layer of safety by decreasing the viral load. Using a hydrogen peroxide based product decreases the exposure of airborne viruses for the staff. During these times one cannot underestimate the steps that need to be taken to ensure the best level of safety. “
